Day one bargaining session - Oct. 3, 2022

The WSNA bargaining team has worked extremely hard at incorporating our nurses’ concerns into our initial proposal. The team confidently presented this comprehensive proposal to Kadlec management this morning.
In the afternoon, we met again with management and received a handful of responses to our proposal which are listed below:

  • Association Security
  • Leaves of Absence
  • Effects of Leave
  • Return from a Leave of Absence
  • Bereavement Leave
  • Professional Meetings
  • Jury Duty
  • Grievance Procedure

We have no tentative agreements to report at this point as it is the first day of negotiations. Our next confirmed negotiating dates are October 19 and 27 with additional dates being proposed into November.
Your team asks that you show your support by wearing your WSNA shirts on bargaining days. In addition, please send your candid photos of you and your co-workers showing your support to your nurse organizer, Ryan Rosenkranz at (206) 867-4627.

In Solidarity,
Meri Bukovinsky “Chair”-CDU
Jamie Woodall “Co-Chair” FSED
Vanessa Douglas “Secretary/Treasurer” ICU
Anita Dennis “Grievance Officer” PACU
Andrew Blake-Cath Lab
Kat Banks- PACU
Michelle Killebrew- CV Pre/Post
