Contract bargaining update

On June 6, 2022, your contract negotiation team met with hospital administration for our 6th negotiation session. Thanks to your support, we made progress on some of big issues. However, we are not done yet. Hospital management needs to understand that your bargaining team is advocating for your needs and has your full support. We have put together a petition that we are asking the nurses at the hospital to sign. Please contact Colleen, Melanie and Carey to sign the petition beginning June 10!

We are currently set to meet next with management on June 21.

Your bargaining team is still asking all RNs to wear a “I support My Bargaining Team” sticker to show your support for a fair contract. Contact Colleen, Melanie or Carey for stickers.

Thank you to all of you who joined the Arbor Health Community Hospital Board Meeting last month! Your bargaining team is again asking you to join this month’s Arbor Health Community Hospital Board meeting to show your support for a FAIR CONTRACT. The board meets next on June 29, 2022, at 1530 on ZOOM.

In Solidarity, your negotiating team: Colleen Littlejohn, Local Unit Chair; Melanie Pyles, Treasurer; Carey Young

Please contact Travis Elmore Nelson, WSNA Nurse Rep at telmore@WSNA.org or 206-575-7979 ext. 3117 with questions or to find out what you can do to get a fair contract!
