Tomorrow, August 6, we will elect our local unit officers for the next three-year term. The officers elected will lead our bargaining unit through day-to-day workplace issues and help shape our priorities and direction through our next contract negotiations.

There are five officer positions and three declared candidates. Write-in candidates are permitted for every position.

The voting system requires you to make a selection for every position. For the positions without a declared candidate, please select “None” or write in the name of a member you believe would be willing to serve.

Our local unit is strongest when members participate and help choose the leaders who will represent us. Please take a few minutes tomorrow to cast your ballot and make your voice heard.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to our outgoing officers for their leadership, dedication, and service to our bargaining unit.
