Nurse Rep visit coming next week!

Robin, PIMC’s nurse representative, will be back out at Peace Island next week and wanted us to share times when he’ll be available to connect in person. He will also be collecting the remaining contract signatures so we can post a finalized version rather than the redline.

He is looking forward to continuing to build relationships across the hospital and being a consistent, long-term resource for our nurses.

There’s always work to do, and it’s important that he hears your perspective — what’s going well, what could be better, and how he can support us moving forward.

Where he’ll be

Friday, May 1

  • 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
    Hospital lobby (drop in anytime)
  • 5:30 – 8:00 PM
    San Juan Brewing Company

Saturday, May 2

  • 7:30 – 9:30 AM
    The Salty Fox

Topics (as much or as little as you want to share):

  • General feedback on your unit/work environment
  • Staffing perspectives, including ADOs if relevant
  • Opportunities to get involved, including officer roles, supporting roles, and participation in the Hospital Staffing Committee
  • Or just introductions — no pressure

If you’re planning to stop by (even briefly), feel free to email him here.

If you’re off-island or unavailable but have something you’d like to share, you’re always welcome to reach out as well.

Even a quick 10-minute conversation after shift is helpful.

Robin is looking forward to connecting with as many nurses as possible.

In Solidarity,
Julie Bielau – Chair
Lesley Preysz – Secretary
Suzanne Cochran – Treasurer
Clarece Markins – Grievance Officer
Robin Cully – Nurse Representative
