Contract negotiations update

On July 19 and 20, 2021, your contract negotiation team met with hospital administration for our first two negotiation sessions. We gave them our proposals which include competitive wage increases, improvements to staffing language, a permanent incentive pay program, a proposal to discourage mandatory overtime, parity for clinic RNs and other proposals. We pushed back on management attacks on per diem and relief RNs.

We meet next with management on September 9 and 10. Hospital administration has committed to giving us their comprehensive proposal at that time.

SAVE THE DATE!

We are working on scheduling a local unit meeting to discuss negotiations with you! We have tentatively set September 14 in the late afternoon/evening as a date for a union meeting. Stay tuned for details!
