Cancelled negotiations!

Management has informed WSNA that they are cancelling our negotiation sessions for September! They are citing the increase of COVID-19 patients, the Washington state COVID-19 vaccine mandate, and the implementation of the PeaceHealth Vaccination Policy as reasons why they need to cancel on September 9, 10, 20, 21, 27 and 28. Your bargaining team was deeply disappointed to get this news from PeaceHealth as the contract expires on Sept. 30, 2021.

WSNA is scheduling 2 virtual union meetings on Sept. 9 so we can hear from you and discuss the current state of contract negotiations:

Meeting #1 – 1500-1630 via Microsoft Teams or call in 206-485-2614; PIN 857118909#
Meeting #2 – 2000-2130 via Microsoft Teams or call in 206-485-2614; PIN 129513795#

Please plan on attending one of these important meetings!

NSO Liability Insurance

WSNA encourages all of our members to carry liability insurance. Many of you have expressed concerns with unsafe staffing and dangerous working conditions. WSNA works with NSO to promote malpractice insurance that costs about $120 a year. This may help protect you should you be named in a lawsuit or investigated by the nursing commission.
