OR nurses may have received an email from the employer stating that scheduling changes are happening “… with the union’s blessing”

To be clear: WSNA has NOT provided any such blessing for changes related to OR scheduling. In fact, we currently have two active grievances concerning holiday and weekend scheduling in the OR. These grievances are ongoing, and no agreement has been reached regarding any changes to these practices.

Any recent alterations to OR schedules, including those involving holidays and weekends, have occurred without consultation, collaboration, or agreement with the union. This is deeply concerning and a direct violation of the principles of collective bargaining and contract adherence.
