Are you owed money?

WSNA has filed a grievance on behalf of all affected SCH RNs who were not paid for all time spent completing required annual nursing modules and competencies for 2021.

We understand that you may not have been able to complete the modules during shift downtime. Does anyone actually have downtime? We understand that some managers told RNs they could record up to three hours to complete the modules. Other managers told RNs they were expected to complete the modules during downtime and were discouraged from recording this time in ETM. We have heard that some RNs worked on modules at home and did not charge for all time spent, perhaps because it took longer than three hours.

If you spent time on these required competencies and modules that was not compensated, I need to hear from you to include you in this grievance and get you the money you are owed. Please email me with the details of your situation, including the date(s) and amount of time spent, as well as the reason you did not log that time. (Email me directly rather than replying to this email).
