Join the 2026 Union Leadership Conference
Register now for WSNA’s Union Leadership Conference
Wenatchee Convention Center, April 26-28, 2026
Two years ago, we outgrew our space for the Union Leadership Conference, so this year we’re moving to the centrally located Wenatchee Convention Center, steps from the Columbia River.
This conference is your chance to hear the latest about the labor movement, build power together and recharge for the challenges ahead. We’re going to have a lot of fun leveling up our leadership skills, hearing from state and national labor leaders, and celebrating union nurses who really took the lead over the past two years.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join nurses from across Washington to swap stories, compare what’s working (and what’s not), and tackle shared challenges together.

Awards Banquet
Yes, this is a super fun costume party, but more importantly, it is our time to celebrate union nurses who led the way over the past two years. Celebrate nurses and bargaining teams whose leadership made a real difference.
Who will we honor in April? That’s up to you!
Take a minute now to nominate a nurse or bargaining team that has really stepped up. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 26.
Here are the eight awards categories:
- Outstanding Local Unit Chair. An LU chair or co-chair who gets things done, leads by example, takes care of business, and inspires members.
- Adversity Award. An RN or group of RNs who have faced a difficult challenge in their workplace, and with perseverance and determination prevailed in their fight for justice.
- Local Unit Star. A member who has stepped forward to become more involved with the Local Unit and support the work of WSNA.
- Outstanding Negotiating Team. A team, big or small, that stuck together throughout difficult negotiations, while keeping members informed, involved, and mobilized.
- Emeritus Award. A retired member who made significant contributions at the local unit level and potentially at the state and national level.
