Clarification regarding the tentative agreement announcement

In our haste to publish, we omitted key information about the ratification incentive. Following ratification by WSNA members and upon adoption by the County council (the effective date), the County nurses in career service and TLT positions who were active employees on the effective date shall receive a one-time payment of $1000. This excludes classifications that will receive wage increases through the RN/PHN wage parity, and the newly created Psychiatric ARNP – Jail wage reclassification. The wage parity adjustment for the RN classifications (jail and non-jail) will produce a sizeable increase of between 12.75% and 18.67% upon county council’s adoption.
