Voluntary Separation Program MOA 2020

The County has occasionally activated the “Voluntary Separation Program” in various departments. Our bargaining unit has taken advantage of VSP in the past if layoffs were being contemplated.

Because VSP has been set forth by King County Ordinance, WSNA agreed to create an MOA that would be subject to the terms and conditions of the Ordinance. This eliminates the need to renegotiate a VSP MOA each time they county plans to invoke it. It is not currently activated.
