Wage increases and executive leave updates

WSNA has learned that the County is targeting October for your wage increases, which will be applied retroactively. This is disappointing that it is taking so long to be approved by the council. We will provide further updates when we have them.

WSNA is pleased to report that the County agrees to extend COVID Executive Leave to eligible employees represented by WSNA. Consistent with the awarding of the leave to non-represented employees, the director of the Department of Human Resources makes the final decisions on awarding additional leave days, beyond the 10 days already provided under the policy, based on a department director’s written request supported with documentation for the ask. The maximum additional leave that can be granted are 15 days that must be used by December 31, 2021.
