Nurse conference committee meeting

Hello PHSKC Supervisors!

Did you know that per Article 15 of our CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) we have the opportunity to meet regularly with King County leadership? It’s called the Nurse Conference Committee (NCC). The purpose of these meetings is to discuss mutual problems regarding supervisory issues, and to facilitate the resolution of all problems which may arise between the parties. Basically it’s our opportunity to bring forth issues and concerns and work collaboratively with the County to try to resolve them. We meet quarterly.

Our next scheduled NCC meeting for JHS and DAJD nursing supervisors and managers is Jan. 5; our next scheduled NCC meeting for supervisors and managers of CHS, prevention and administration is Jan. 19. Do you have issues that you would like your officers to bring forth at the upcoming January meetings? We need to hear from you. Please put forth your agenda items (by replying to this email) no later than Dec. 27 so that we can add it to the agenda.

We are proud to be your elected union officers and to represent your interests with leadership. We want to wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.
