Negotiations update

We were scheduled for negotiations with the County on Feb. 20 and March 2. Unfortunately, both these sessions were cancelled by the County. The March 2 meeting was cancelled due to illness, and considering the recent COVID-19 events in the community and spread of illness in general, we support that decision. A reason was not given for the Feb. 20 cancellation.

As you know, the County has proposed a major re-write of nearly the entire contract. This means extended negotiations in order to evaluate and respond to proposed language. We are working to schedule additional dates and will provide an update once we have had another session.
