Sad News

On Friday morning, May 19, Mara Kieval, WSNA Nurse Representative, passed away. She was surrounded by her family. You may or may not have been aware that she had battled breast cancer and seemed to have won the fight. That fight was short-lived, unfortunately. A month ago, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer.

Her family at WSNA is devastated by the news. She was a fierce fighter for the rights of nurses.

I will be covering for Mara until we are able to hire a new nurse rep. In the meantime, feel free to email or call me on my cell. 206-491-9424.
