In the transition agreement for the Snohomish County Health District, some items from the previous contract were not added to the current contract. While most will be negotiated during our upcoming contract bargaining in the next few months, there was an urgent need to fill vital roles with temporary staff. We worked with the District to create a Memorandum of Understanding that covers the need to add additional staff on a temporary basis with the goal of hiring permanent staff into those positions as quickly as possible. Much of the language is the same as the previous contract.
