Ballots have been counted and we are pleased to announce your new WSNA officers! The new officers are Chair – Kat (Kathleen) Clancy, Vice Chair – Karen Winchell, Grievance Officer – Susan Babcock, and Secretary / Treasurer – Lucy (Lucille) McNeely. Additionally, Bonnie Decker has agreed to continue as a representative at Conference Committee. Please also join us in thanking Debra Cartmell-Herzig for her contribution as a past officer.

Other news - WSNA continues to monitor the plans to close the First Steps and WIC programs. There have been no new developments since our December meeting. We will also be looking to this summer to start planning for negotiations this fall. The current contract expires at the end of this year. Be on the lookout for survey that will likely come out in June and for the opportunity to be part of the negotiation team.
