Negotiation update and rally announcement

We met with management until nearly 1:00 am today to try to get a fair contract that acknowledges the work we do and the value we bring to PeaceHealth Southwest. Unfortunately, management’s proposed raises and their responses to our requests to respect our seniority and tenure were inadequate - the Hospital has shown that it does not value our time and commitment to our patients and community. Further, management insists on proposing takeaways to the language of the contract that honors seniority and length of service.

You may have signed a petition to rally recently however we didn’t have a date or time set! That has changed! Now is the time to act.

We are having a rally at the Vancouver Waterfront
Date: Saturday April 10
Time: 1300-1400
Location: 695 Waterfront Way, Vancouver WA

Parking: There are a few paid public parking lots in very close proximity, but planning to car pool as appropriate would be recommended

We will be following gathering protocol per Phase 3 standards and therefore we will need PHSW Nurses to RSVP for the Rally on April 10!

Come join together and rally for a FAIR contract! Now is the time to act and show our unity.

United we bargain, divided we beg!
