Bargaining Update: Session 8 (February 3, 2026)

We met again with the employer yesterday and continue to make progress. The main event: we submitted a new counterproposal on wages that would bring our Home and Community Nurses’ pay back up  to where it belongs: right on par with their coworkers in the acute care units.  And while that proposal is in management’s hands, what happens next is in yours.

We know management isn’t hiding its wage proposals from nurses, especially those of us in Grade 4. What they’re not showing us is the long list of nurses their current proposal leaves behind, especially the home health, home hospice, and hospice house nurses in Grades 2 and 3.  We need YOU to remind them: we’re in contract for EVERYONE, and EVERYONE needs to win!

We need EVERYONE to sign the petition ASAP

We are now in February with our contract expiring at the end of this month. The bargaining team needs our employer to know that we will all stand together to demand a fair contract. This starts with our petition. Find a local unit officer, bargaining team member, or action team member today to sign a petition and find out how you can help track down coworkers who haven't signed yet.
