WSNA Nurses at PeaceHealth Southwest: We Have a Contract!

Your voices have been heard! A record-breaking number of WSNA nurses turned out to vote over the last 24 hours, and over 95% voted YES to ratify our 2026-29 collective bargaining agreement. The new contract, including wage and differential raises, will go into full effect when the next full pay period begins this Sunday, March 8.

We want to thank all of you who filled out a survey, wore stickers and WSNA shirts, came to events and bargaining sessions, helped post on social media, and spread the word with coworkers as we bargained.

We know nurses still feel like there is unfinished business to address, both in their units and within our bargaining unit. We agree – no contract can fix every problem we face on the job, and even the strongest language can’t protect us if we don’t take the time to enforce it and back one another up throughout the contract term. That’s where we need your help.

During negotiations, we weren’t just standing up for our bargaining unit; we were standing up for our patients, our union siblings, our profession, and our community. This contract gives us brand new opportunities to influence our what our time on and off the clock looks like, but we’ll need to work together to take on the issues that matter to all of us. Ratification is where our work begins, not where it ends.

Help us hit the ground running as our contract takes effect. We have new trainings and events planned, and can find space for anyone that wants to help pitch in. Want to stay involved? Contact Nurse Rep Bret Percival at BPercival@wsna.org.

Thank you to every nurse who spoke up, showed up, and cast a vote. You are the union—and we’re just getting started.
