Join Us as a Unit Rep! Training Provided

Hello PHSW RNs,

Your elected officers are inviting you to help keep the RNs engaged and informed as we prepare for contract bargaining by becoming a unit rep. They know this plays a crucial role in building union power and visibility.

Therefore they have asked me to invite you to the training, knowing it offers a great foundation of union skills.

After all, PHSW management must see and feel that they are bargaining with all the nurses, not just those at the table. Vocal, enthusiastic, and attentive RNs early in the contract bargaining process are how contracts are protected and built upon. It helps prevent a lengthy and exhaustive bargaining session that strains everyone (and their families).

We can do this. We can get the contract we deserve, but everyone must step out of their comfort zone and take on a bigger role in our union.

Please use the link below to sign up for a one-hour virtual unit rep training session and invite a friend interested in learning more.

If you are a curious unit rep and need more time to accept the role, you will still benefit from the training.

They will be held at the following times/dates:

  • 3/15 8:30 – 9:30 AM
  • 3/15 8:00 – 9:00 PM
  • 3/16 8:30 – 9:30 AM
  • 3/16 8:00 – 9:00 PM

Let me know if you prefer other dates/times or want to meet 1:1 to review the material.

Thank you for taking care of our community.

In Solidarity,
