Bargaining update – Day 5

On February 9, 2024, our contract negotiation team met with PeaceHealth Southwest management for our fourth day of in person negotiations and it was yet another disappointing day. WSNA and PeaceHealth agreed to tentative agreements on nonfinancial proposals related to conference committee and orientation. We also discussed workplace violence and will be putting forth a proposal focused on holding management accountable for keeping you safe on the job.

We are three weeks away from contract expiration and for yet another session management withheld their proposals related to wages, premiums, and other economic items. PeaceHealth also continues to say no to the minimum staffing standards that your colleagues in Oregon will have this year. This is why we need every single WSNA RN to sign our petition! Once we get enough signatures, we will be presenting the petitions to management. Contact one of the negotiation team members or WSNA Organizer Sam Scholl for copies or to sign the petition.
