Negotiation update – Day #1

The first day of bargaining is complete. Your negotiating team of nurses passed our first comprehensive proposal to management and they gave us some small house keeping items in return. Today was short, since it is the first day, but so far things are moving as they should.

Hot topics today were:

  • WSNA presented workplace violence protections for nurse in the field and the clinic
  • Management presented a Code of Ethics Business Conduct Policy
  • Management presented a Drug and Alcohol Policy

A discussion was had between the parties on wages and WSNA expressed how the wages for nurses should be more fair when it comes to raises and rates of pay.

Next day to bargain is Nov 19.
Stay tuned for the next update!

Your WSNA negotiating team members are:

Kimberly Parkey
Kaylee Nunley
Michelle Huskinson
