Contract Negotiations Update: Session Seven - Time to talk

Our seventh session with management was a slow go again and did not produce any tentative agreements. Management has proposed reducing per diem and pay in lieu of premium to 10%, wages increase of 2% each year of the contract, no retro, no bonus.

It is time to talk. We are holding local unit meetings to talk about where we are at, what you want and what you are willing to do. Please attend one of the following meetings and encourage your colleagues to come too:

Date: July 9, 2019
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 8– 9 p.m.
Place: Holiday Inn Express
11751 Pacific Hwy SW,
Lakewood, WA

Our next session of negotiations is June 27, 2019.

Now is when we could use a structure of Unit Reps to help the negotiation team with negotiations and communication. Our goal is to have at least one Unit Rep on every unit and every shift. Please contact your Local Unit Officers or Nurse Rep if you are interested or would like more information.

Together we are strong, together we win!

In Solidarity,
Your Negotiating Team:
Kimberly Russell, Tony Endrizzi, Clairissa Korrell, Jocelyn Rogers, Patrick Williams, Tessa Zuidhoff
