WSNA Labor Executive Council Coming to Bellingham June 4-5

The WSNA Labor Executive Council (LEC), the highest elected union leadership body within WSNA, will be meeting in Bellingham this June. The LEC helps guide the overall direction, priorities, and strategy of WSNA union activities across the state, and this is a great opportunity for St. Joe’s nurses to connect directly with union leaders from around Washington.

To kick things off, WSNA will host a free reception on June 4 from 1800-2000 at the Four Points Sheraton. There will be food, drinks, and the opportunity to meet and talk with the elected leaders who help shape the future of our union.

The LEC will also hold its quarterly meeting on June 5 beginning at 0930, and WSNA members are encouraged to attend and observe the work being done on behalf of nurses statewide.

And of course, we are especially proud that our very own Amber Pouley serves on the LEC, helping represent the voices of St. Joe’s nurses at the statewide level.

In support of Amber and the visiting LEC members, we will not be holding our usual in-person union meet-up this month. Instead, we encourage everyone to attend the June 4 reception together.

Let’s show the rest of the state what we already know, WSNA at St. Joe’s is one of the strongest and most engaged union units in Washington.
