We have had a great grievance win!

Recently, a nurse filed a grievance on behalf of Oncology Infusion nurses. The issue arose because nurses who missed their rest breaks were not paid at the time and a half rate.

In a collaborative effort, the issue was resolved. This will result in the 16 affected nurses receiving back pay for the missed rest breaks.

It is important that you review your paychecks to make sure that you are being paid correctly. If you ever have a question, feel free to call WSNA or speak with one of your Local Unit Officers.
