Negotiation update

We met for session number 6 with management on Monday. We were able to discuss many proposals and had some good dialogue on issues including staffing and workplace violence. We have had lively discussion regarding the after-hours hospice program and have received a proposal to trial a schedule change there, beginning in July. We are hoping to finalize that decision shortly.

While management has moved on some key issues, we are still far apart on many issues, including per diem requirements and the retention of EIB. Stay tuned. We are actively working to represent the well being of all

the nurses and cannot overstate the appreciation for the support and encouragement from everyone. Continue to share thoughts and passions with the team as they are conveying those clearly to management and making our position plain. We are standing firm in our resolve to obtain the best contract for all of us!

In solidarity!
