Labor Management meeting update

Today, during our monthly Labor Management Meeting, we discussed the following issues.

Current IV equipment

We've had numerous concerns regarding the current IV kits. There have been issues with them falling out, being flimsy and difficult to insert. We are asking nurses to fill out a Safe to Share form each time you have an issue with the IVs. If you have problems during a code or a rapid response, please call for a safety stop. We need to provide documentation of the issues you are having. Management has listened to our concerns and told us they are looking into it. With that said, documentation is imperative.

LC/MLC electronic form

New electronic LC/MLC forms will be rolled out soon. You should be getting communication from management regarding the process.

COVID EIB use

If you test positive for COVID, you should use EIB directly, not PTO. Testing kits can be obtained from employee health . you may need up to three negative COVID-19 test prior returning to work.
