Is Staffing on Your Unit Appropriate? ADO’s Being Filed is Down.

At our February Staffing Committee meeting management noted the number of ADOs was down from what it had been. Their comment was that staffing issues must be improving because the number of ADOs has decreased. If this is true fantastic. If it is not true, please file ADOs when there is a staffing concern so that issues are brought to light and can be addressed.

You can take a photo of this QR and save it to your phone for a direct link to our electronic ADO.

Ado

If there are reasons for not filing them when there are concerns, please take our pre-negotiation. We have questions on the survey regarding ADOs, rest breaks and much more.

Pre-negotiation Survey

It is really important all SJMC nurses participate and take our survey to ensure all our voices make it to the bargaining table. If you have not taken is yet please do so now. Link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6LRGLBR.

Thank you to everyone who has already taken our survey. Please check with all the nurses you work with and encourage them to take it too.

Should I or shouldn’t I?

Sometimes we find ourselves in circumstances that we have not been in before, or not very often, the opportunity to discern what is "right and wrong" regarding our conduct may present itself. Even when we are not in a pandemic, these situations arise.
