Contract Negotiations Update

Since our WSNA registered nurse membership rejected the Employer's last proposal on Friday August 29, we have been fielding a lot of questions from members about what to expect next.  Your WSNA team of registered nurses, along with WSNA attorney, met on Monday, September 15, in order to consider next steps.

We have also reached out to the employer, who has agreed to go back to the table.

We think that bringing in a Federal mediator may give some third-party perspective and allow each team to consider the other parties' needs, as well as think creatively towards a resolution.

This will likely happen at the end of September or early October.

We don't have dates nailed down as of yet, but we are committed as a team, to reach a Tentative Agreement that RNs can comfortably vote "YES" on.

In the meantime, stay tuned for actions you can be a part of in order to help move this process along.

In Solidarity,

Your WSNA Bargaining Team
