Good news about your compensation for 2022!

As you know, during negotiations in 2020, your WSNA Negotiating Team bargained contract language that should any other group of employees receive a wage increase, the nurses would as well. The county announced last week that because another group had received wage increases, the nurses would, too. WSNA RNs will receive a holiday in recognition of Juneteenth. Juneteenth was recognized as a federal holiday on June 17, 2021, when President Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law to commemorate the emancipation of African-American slaves.

Details from the Memorandum of Understanding:

  1. Section 11.1 Salary schedules will be modified as follows:
    1. Effective the first full pay period in January 2022, each step in all ranges of the 2021 hourly matrix shall be increased by 3%.
  2. Section 15.02 Holiday Schedule will be modified to add the Juneteenth holiday.
  3. Effective the first full pay period in April 2022, each active employee on payroll will receive a one-time lump sum payment in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000).

Thanks to your former WSNA Team, Erin Schuldt and Julie Rose, who fought for you!
