Let's celebrate Ann Lund - Member of the Month!
I have enjoyed a wide scope of practice in my nursing career, working in both local and international settings. I specialized in cross-cultural nursing at SPU and found my public health passion early in my career while working in East Africa. I have a global family, with each of my three children born on different continents.
I’ve worked at WCHCS for over 18 years, first in Communicable Disease and then in the TB Program. I thrive on the challenges and diversity of caring for TB patients as well as educating patients and clinicians on what they need to know about TB.
I have always appreciated the positive impact of WSNA’s advocacy for improved safety, pay & benefits for Public Health Nurses. I personally benefitted by the direct support of a WSNA staff member several years ago who drove all the way to Bellingham to support me. I am enthusiastic about efforts to help our nurses learn more about all the valuable benefits available to them through WSNA membership!
