July 14, 2025: Labor Union 101 Q & A

myCurrentUpdate.tableOfContents =

Hello Mares nurses,

We hope you had a good holiday weekend around the 4th of July. This week in our Newsletter we want to provide you with some Labor Union 101, Questions & Answers that we promised.

Read that Q & A Newsletter here.

We’ll send you some more Q & As in a few weeks. If you have any specific questions please send them to Jenny Galassi, WSNA Organizer, jgalassi@wsna.org. We’d love to cover your questions next!

Wage Step placement changes are coming this month!

Nearly 75 nurses’ wages will increase this month when they receive credit for years of experience working as a nurse. Reach out to a bargaining team member or WSNA Nurse Rep Laurie Robinson for more information.

We couldn’t have reached this recent milestone of getting nurses paid for the experience they have, without EVERY nurse at Mares behind us. Thank you for your patience and standing by us. We are stronger together and the community we serve when we are united. Between Central Campus and Mares Campus, we are nearly 650 WSNA Union Strong Nurses in the Wenatchee Valley area!

Continue to support a strong local unit!

  1. Wear your WSNA blue badge buddies.
  2. Wear you blue WSNA T shirts and send pics to mares@wsna.org.
  3. Send your Wage increase win story to mares@wsna.org and we’ll feature it in our next Newsletter.
Wenatchee loves nurses
