This is a WIN!
Posted Jul 30, 2025
WSNA is recommending a “YES” vote.
That’s right! Your negotiating team fought LONG and HARD these past 9 sessions of negotiations. Many WINS were made such as maintaining pay raises to occur in April of each year vs a much later date as proposed by management. This means, more money in the pockets for our valuable WSNA RNs! In addition to this, your reliable negotiating team secured a ratification bonus, as well as sizable, significant raises!
Even better, the gains do not stop there. A lot of conversations were had around healthcare benefits and coverage of dependents. The team secured a firm commitment from management to continue this important topic moving forward collaboratively with nurses, which will elevate your voices. What does this mean? Management has committed to reinstituting the Employee Benefits Committee and making it paid time for WSNA committee members who are appointed by WSNA to attend.

Prefer to be in person? No problem! We will be available on Aug 7, for an in-person opportunity. This is also a great way to say thank you to the negotiating team and get any questions you have answered. Help will be available to assist any nurses in casting their electronic votes, if needed.

How does electronic voting work?
In order to receive your ballot, WSNA must have your correct email address on file. Ballots will be emailed to WSNA members only. If you do not receive a ballot by 0600 on August 7, please check your junk mail and if necessary, contact WSNA Rep Sara Frey right away to determine the cause, and fix any issues. Nurses will have from 0600 on Aug 7 until 1400 on Aug 8 to cast their vote. Nurses will not be allowed to vote outside of this timeline.
PTO donations are appreciated!
After 9 sessions of bargaining, your team has officially dedicated over 70 hours each of unpaid time. If you are able to contribute PTO to them, please fill out the PTO donation form today and turn it into Sara Frey Nurse Representative at sfrey@wsna.org
