Our hearts go out to the many people impacted by the fires in the Spokane area, including the Gray Fire in Medical Lake and the Oregon Road Five fire near Elk. With thousands of acres burned, at least 185 structures lost, and residents of Medical Lake and Elk under evacuation orders, these fires are devastating.

WSNA has contributed to the Foundation for Working Families, a Washington State Labor Council affiliate program that provides disaster relief to union members. If you and your family are experiencing hardship as a result of the wildfires or some other natural disaster in Washington state, you can apply for disaster relief.

The Foundation for Working Families is also accepting donations. Want to help union families suffering from a natural disaster like the Eastern Washington wildfires or economic hardship?
