Online registration for the 2025 Washington State Nurses Convention closes Sunday, April 20. There will be no onsite registration.

This is more than a last call—it’s a turning point

When WSNA members from across the state gather April 30 to May 2 for Convention, we will be shaping the future of our profession, our union, and our association. We’ll be planning for the next two years—and making sure those plans reflect what nurses need now.

If you’ve been waiting for a moment to get involved, to speak up, or to reconnect with purpose—this is that moment.

What it means to be there

This Convention is where members come together to reflect, recharge, and lead. It’s a place to make your voice heard on key decisions about WSNA’s structure, direction, and advocacy—and to gain insight from leaders and experts on the most pressing issues facing nurses today, from safe staffing and workplace violence prevention to health equity.

You’ll hear directly from leaders like ANA President Jennifer Mensik-Kennedy and WSNA President Justin Gill. You’ll participate in WSNA’s General Assembly—our biennial membership meeting—where members will vote on resolutions that help define what WSNA fights for and consider proposed bylaws amendments that shape how the organization works. After Convention, WSNA members will have the opportunity to vote electronically on those bylaws amendments and elect the association’s next leadership team.

You’ll also meet the candidates running to lead WSNA through the next two years and have the information you need to vote when electronic balloting opens in late May.

What you’ll experience

  • Up to 10.5 continuing nursing education contact hours, including DEI credit.
  • Presentations and panels on the 2023 staffing law, health equity, mentoring, workplace violence prevention, and more.
  • A statewide network of peers who share your drive to care, lead, and advocate.
  • Morning yoga, waterfront walks, and space to breathe.
  • A Thursday night awards gala honoring nurses and community partners who have changed lives—and a chance to support future generations of nurses through the Washington State Nurses Foundation's scholarship fundraising.

This isn’t just another conference—it’s where we gather our strength and move forward together. Every session, every conversation, every vote is part of how we build the power and direction we need for what comes next.

If you’re a WSNA member, this is for you.

  • If you care about where our profession is headed.
  • If you want to help shape WSNA’s priorities.
  • If you want to make connections that energize and sustain you.
  • If you want to remember why this work matters.
