The Washington State Department of Health’s Power of Provider Initiative has an upcoming series focused on behavioral health support for healthcare professionals. The free series will begin with Health for healthcare professionals: Taking care of yourself as you care for others.

The series features Washington’s prominent disaster psychologist Kira Mauseth, Ph.D. The webinar will be from 12 - 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 and will be recorded. Live ASL interpretation is also available.

The learning objectives for this webinar include the following:

  1. Identify experiences that contribute to burnout vs. restoration.
  2. Develop a personal plan for healthy engagement.
  3. Establish healthy boundaries around work and “off” time. Continuing education credit is not currently offered for this webinar but is being pursued for nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.
