Join us for a free webinar on the use of aromatherapy on Feb. 19 from noon to 1 p.m.

This webinar will be presented live and a recording will be available to registrants for 30 days. Participants can earn 1 CNE.

Introduction to Aromatherapy for Healthcare Professionals, led by Natalie Conner, ARNP-CNS, AMB-BC, will introduce participants to concepts basic to the study of aromatherapy — the therapeutic use of essential oils.

The webinar will include the following:

  • Historical use of essential oils and extraction methods in terms of botanic and chemical composition.
  • Common carriers and application methods will be described and contrasted.
  • Precautions for use in vulnerable populations will be presented, allowing participants to determine best practices around the use of aromatherapy in clinical/hospital settings.
