Negotiation update session twelve

Your WSNA Team of Registered Nurses met with Evergreen Administration and Management for the 12th bargaining session on Tuesday, March 12. The employer offered a proposal that made slight movement in wages but fell short of the mark in other areas that are of great importance to our bargaining team, such as safe staffing. WSNA is pressing to reach an agreement on improved workplace violence language in addition to protecting Per Diem rights and benefits. Recognizing the hurdles on both sides, we have mutually agreed to seek the assistance of a PERC Mediator and will schedule our next session as soon as is possible for all parties.

We encourage all Evergreen RNs to stay involved and let us know if you have ongoing questions or concerns.

Your priorities are the driving force behind our negotiations and we are striving to persist until we reach an agreement that is fair and deserving.
