We have reached a Tentative Agreement

On Monday, Dec. 20, your WSNA team of registered nurses was able to reach a well-deserved Tentative Agreement with the employer.

  • We had NO takeaways and agreed to a 3 year agreement with wages of 5.5%, 4.5% and 4.5%. That’s right, 14.5% over 3 years.
  • We also bumped up the night shift diff by $1/hour and Weekend shift Diff by $1/hour as well.
  • Vacation accrual for those with three years of service or more has increased at an accelerated rate.
  • We added the holiday of Juneteenth
  • Dress and Uniform benefit increased from $150 to $225 per year
  • Extra shift bonus has doubled from $100 to $200 for shifts less than 24 hours in length and from $200 to $400 for 24 hour shifts and Per Diem RNs are now eligible for this benefit too!
  • We were able to get per diem wage increases to $51, $52.75 and $54.75 over the next 3 years.
  • We added steps 28, 29, and 30 starting in 2024 at 1% increase to each.
  • The Nurse Trainer Premium has increased from $1.50 to $2/hour
  • We achieved HSA contributions for 2022 only (they had ended as part of our last contract).
  • We also agreed to an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) for a referral bonus and sign on bonus as well.

We are currently working on comprising a summary for the website to be posted a week prior to the vote. We are planning on conducting a vote on Monday, Jan. 3.

We will pass along the times and locations as soon as we solidify them so please stay tuned.

We had a great team of two experienced RNs in Heidi Odupitan and Chris Marshall. Please offer them thanks for their time and advocacy if you have a chance.

We were able to accomplish this in 4 sessions with some productive behind the scenes team meetings and proposal exchanges.

Your WSNA team proudly recommend a “YES” vote!

Plan on showing up and casting your vote of support on Monday, Jan. 3!
