The votes are in!

We have a new contract. The vote was a resounding YES. Your new wage scale will go into effect Feb. 4. This was the only change in the contract. We will go back to the bargaining table some time around Oct. 2023.

Once the ratified contract is fully signed it will be available online at your Local Unit Website.

Thank you to everyone who voted. Thank you Yvonne Peters and Katrina Rostedt for helping to negotiated the wage increase.

Pass Safe Staffing Legislation – Take Action Now

House Bill 1868 and its companion Senate Bill 5751 call on lawmakers in Olympia to:

  • Pass safe staffing standards that will protect us from dangerously high patient loads
  • Enforce existing overtime and meal and rest break laws
  • And hold employers accountable with enhanced enforcement mechanism.
