Bargaining Update 1/7/2022

WSNA and the employer have communicated and are working on plans to move forward with bargaining. The employer has indicated they will be sending the WSNA bargaining team a counterproposal which our team will then meet virtually to discuss and respond accordingly.

Additional dates for this month are in the works. We understand that setbacks in this process are disappointing yet are sometimes unavoidable. At this point, both WSNA and the employer have expressed that we are committed to continuing work to come to a mutual agreement. We still have some significant differences, and the bargaining team will continue to press for a fair contract for WSNA nurses.

If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to your bargaining team members or contact Nurse Representative Bret Percival at BPercival@WSNA.org.

In solidarity,
