We have a Tentative Agreement!

Our WSNA negotiating team recommends a YES vote

The agreement includes:

  • 6% raise which will be retroactive to 11/1/2021
  • 3.75% raise 11/1/2022
  • 3.5% raise 11/1/2023
  • Retention bonus up to $1000 in 2022 – paid in March 2022
  • Retention bonus up to $2000 in 2023 – paid February 2023
  • Retention bonus will be prorated based on FTE or hours worked which ever was higher
  • Improved language on cross training
  • Baylor weekend only positions with enhanced pay
  • Created pathway for nurses to return to original unit if transfer does not work out.
  • Increase to overtime pay related to overrun of scheduled procedures
  • Increased standby pay for standby in excess of 50 hours in a pay period
  • Fought off negative proposals to meal and rest periods
  • Fought off PTO proposal and protected current vacation and sick leave language
  • Fought off reductions in rest between shifts pay
