ADOs and Incentive Pay

 ADOs, ADOs, ADOs!

Surge is upon us, and the incidence of unsafe assignments and unsafe staffing are likely to rise. We have heard of concerning conditions, specifically in the Emergency Department. Please fill out ADOs. Otherwise, we have no official record and little to no ability to fight poor working conditions.

Today, 1/12/26, your new Nurse Rep, Kira Twiggs, will be on campus ready to help you fill out ADOs. The process is simple, as you are not required to fill out the entire form. We primarily need your name, your email, facility, unit, manager’s name and email address, date/time of incident, and a brief description of the event/concern. If your unit, at any point in the shift, was not staffed to the standards of your Unit Staffing Plan, please fill out an ADO.

You can file an ADO for a multitude of reasons. Use the following link to read more about ADOs and to access the ADO form: Staffing Complaint / ADO Form - WSNA

Incentive Pay—You might be entitled to it and not even know it!

Did you know that you can be eligible for incentive pay even if you were not notified via Everbridge?? If you were told otherwise, that is FALSE, and please reach out to your manager and/or payroll for correction. If you are still denied the incentive, then please reach out to your nurse rep, Kira, at ktwiggs@wsna.org.

Pages 53-54 of your contract go into detail regarding Incentive Pay (access your contract here). For example, you could be eligible for Incentive Pay when picking up an extra shift then being floated to another unit:
