Kadlec Nurses: Strike Assessments Are Underway

Look for your Strike Captain and complete your strike assessment

Following the overwhelming response to the recent member survey, strike assessments are now underway across Kadlec. These conversations are an important step in understanding our unit’s readiness as we continue pushing for the contract nurses deserve.

Strike assessments are not a strike vote. They are conversations between nurses that help the bargaining team understand where members stand and ensure we accurately represent the priorities of Kadlec nurses as negotiations continue.

Strike captains are connecting with nurses across the hospital to ask a few questions about potential escalation and to hear directly from members.

These conversations are:

  • Confidential
  • Nurse-to-nurse
  • An opportunity to ask questions and discuss the issues at stake in negotiations

We encourage every RN to take a few minutes to connect with their Strike Captain and complete their assessment. Please reach out to WSNA Organizer Ryan Rosenkranz (rrosenkranz@wsna.org) if you need to determine who is the nearest Strike Captain to you.

If you have questions about strikes, unemployment, PRN protections, or other concerns, a Strike FAQ is now available in the Documents section of the Kadlec landing page.

Kadlec nurses have made it clear that the current proposal does not meet the priorities identified by the bargaining unit. Staying informed and engaged is the best way to ensure your voice is represented as we move forward.

Together, Kadlec nurses are building the unity needed to win a fair contract.
