Kadlec Nurses Have Spoken
Posted Mar 10, 2026
After our latest bargaining sessions, management suggested they were close to their final position and that the bargaining team was not representing what nurses actually want.
So, we asked you directly.
Would nurses accept management’s latest proposal?
In just three days, Kadlec nurses responded in overwhelming numbers to the member survey:
📊 85% rejected management’s proposal
📊 91% support escalation if necessary
The message from Kadlec nurses is clear:
This proposal does not meet the priorities nurses identified.
More than 100 nurses have already completed strike captain training, and based on the overwhelming survey response, strike assessments will begin this week.
Strike assessments are not a strike vote, but they are an important step in understanding our unit’s readiness as we continue pushing for the contract nurses deserve.
Strike assessors are trained WSNA members who work throughout the facility, often on your unit or in nearby departments. They will be speaking with nurses to ask a few questions about potential escalation and picket participation.
If you are unsure who your closest strike assessor is, you can reach out to Ryan Rosenkranz at rrosenkranz@wsna.org to get connected.
These conversations are:
• Confidential
• Conducted before or after work, on days off, or during break time
• An opportunity to have real conversations with coworkers, ask questions, and discuss what comes next
Kadlec nurses are organized, engaged, and united.
