MOU (Memorandum of Understanding):

The hospital’s administrative team contacted WSNA and the local unit officers regarding voluntary low census as the hospital has faced some financial challenges. Julie Petersen, CEO, voluntarily reduced her salary by 20%. The intent is to allow people who can afford to take the time off while those who would be severely impacted financially can continue to work.

This MOU also allows for volunteers to waive the hospital’s contribution to their pension for a specific amount of time. This is completely voluntary. To view a copy of the MOU as well as a copy of the voluntary action document, click on the links below:
