Hello Nurses!!

On March 3, we met with management for our second day of bargaining. Overall, the conversations went well. we met with management for our second day of bargaining. Overall, the conversations went well.

We had vibrant discussions about callback and how it is being used in the hospital, including working on a scheduled day off. We proposed new language about being called to work with less than 12 hours notice.

We continued our discussions about retirement contributions and health benefits, and we are closer to an agreement.

Conversations continue about wages and premium pay, with proposals to increase preceptor pay, shift differentials, and base rate. We are getting closer to an agreement on these issues.

Lastly, we talked about low census of travelers versus dedicated staff and expressed our concerns about this current practice.
