Increased incentive pay

Last year, in light of the worsening staffing shortage, WSNA worked hard over multiple negotiation sessions to obtain improvements to incentive shift pay. The UW was unwilling to provide more than what was provided for in the contract. The UW initiated the conversation again today regarding the critical staffing crisis and proposed lump sum payments for incentive shifts. After review by your WSNA officers and WSNA, we have accepted this MOU.

The MOU provides for a lump sum incentive; 8 hours or less $200, 10 hours $250 and 12 hours $300. This pay is in addition to all compensation contained in the CBA (e.g., incentive shift premium (if applicable), shift differential, weekend premium, etc.), contractual overtime and statutory overtime.

Please review the MOU for specific conditions that must be met in order to receive this incentive pay.
