Sign the Staffing Committee Petition

Overlake management is not taking our concerns about the proposed staffing grid seriously. Especially our concerns around patient safety. Nurses on Staffing Committee drafted this petition to be delivered in the next staffing committee meeting 7/20, where we will be voting on the changes.

Many of you asked how you can help save our grids, here is what you can do:

  • Sign and share this petition
  • Attend staffing committee and speak up with your concerns.
  • Become the official staffing committee representative for your unit.
  • Create the staffing grid you want to see, share it with your WSNA Staffing Committee Co-Chair, and present it to management in staffing committee.

Remember this process is backed by state law and we the nurses have the tie breaking vote. We will be voting on the proposed changes next staffing committee meeting on 7/20.
